An evening of performances by Chitra Ganesh, Aleyamma Mathew, Mona Ahmad Ali, Tala Dowlatshahi, Swati Khurana, Sunita Sunder Mukhi, Sarah Hussain, Deepa Purohit, Isheeta Ganguly and more, as well as a visual arts show, Runga Loom.
Special honoree: Professor Shamita Das DasGupta, founder of Manavi, a New Jersey-based women’s rights organization that works to end all forms of violence against South Asian women living in the United States, and editor of A Patchwork Shawl: Chronicles of South Asian Women in America.
