SAWCC is looking for new board members! This is an exciting way to become more involved with our community of South Asian women and gender non-conforming folks. We welcome committed, collaborative, creative professionals and supporters of the arts with an interest and/or experience in administrative, financial, and fundraising roles.
SAWCC is entirely volunteer-run, and all board members are expected to undertake the responsibilities of the organization. Responsibilities include: attend monthly board meetings and additional meetings as appropriate; play an active role in fundraising efforts and organizing events; and provide financial oversight (we will train you if need be!). We estimate each board member to contribute an average of 5-10 hours a month. The term for a board member is 3 years. Board members must be based in the New York City area
