Join the celebration of this groundbreaking anthology, the first collection of US poets from South Asia. Newly published by the University of Arkansas Press, Indivisible brings together 49 American poets who trace their roots to Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. The poems gathered here take us from basketball courts to Bollywood, from the Grand Canyon to sugar plantations, and from Hindu-Muslim riots in India to anti-immigrant attacks on the streets of post–9/11 America.

There will be a reading, signing session, and reception at the wonderful and evanescent Tamarind Art Gallery.

Featured Poets:

Vijay Seshadri, Subashini Kaligotla, Pramila Venkateswaran and Ralph Nazareth

Cosponsored by South Asian Journalists Association (SAJA) and South Asian Women’s Creative Collective (SAWCC).
